A bit about Me……

Over the past few years I’ve been working at the forefront of the digital marketing industry as a Social Media Manager, leading a number of high profile accounts. I have experience in social media strategy, community management and creative campaigns designed to build a relevant engaged fan base and drive traffic and leads.

As you would imagine, communication is at the centre of what I do and I have a particular interest in the way social media is changing the way we communicate as a society and as a marketing industry as a whole. What truly interests me, is the way the social sphere has empowered us as societies and consumers, giving us a voice that was previously unheard and forcing those in power, whether governments or big brands to listen to respond to what societies and consumers want.

At the moment, I’m developing my skills in this flourishing industry at SiteVisibility as the social media manager and enjoying working with brands and charities to achieve an authentic online presence that truly listens to and engages with consumers. I love to help clients develop a presence in the social “sphere” and hold a special interest in building and utilising relationships with relevant influencers.

My previous roles have included everything from being part of a leading promotions team for the now huge BeachBreakLive student music festival, to a somewhat more challenging role of controlling the social media and marketing strategy for a jungle and reggae record label.
I then went on to work on a series of high profile events for companies such as The Guardian and The Observer and learnt a lot about how they manage their online marketing campaigns.
